Safety

The part that matters most.

Convenience should never mean compromising clinical standards. Every Aura visit follows a defined process for screening, treatment review, medication preparation, monitoring, and safe disposal.

Every visit includes the clinical evaluation, a registered nurse who stays, and monitoring from start to finish.

Our Safety Standards

The same clinical process, on every visit.

IV therapy should feel convenient without feeling casual.

Every Aura visit follows a defined clinical process, from your medical evaluation and treatment review to medication preparation, monitoring, and safe disposal afterward.

If treatment isn't appropriate for you that day, we don't proceed.

01

Clinical evaluation before treatment

Before receiving IV therapy, every client completes a medical evaluation with a licensed medical provider.

Your health history, medications, allergies, relevant conditions, and selected treatment are reviewed to determine whether IV therapy is appropriate for you.

When required, your treatment may be modified, postponed, or declined.

02

Your treatment is reviewed for you

We don't believe the biggest bag or longest ingredient list is automatically the better choice.

Your selected infusion and dosing are reviewed for clinical appropriateness based on the information available to your treating medical provider.

More isn't always better. Appropriate is better.

03

A registered nurse administers your treatment

Every Aura IV infusion is prepared and administered by a registered nurse.

Before treatment begins, your nurse verifies your identity, reviews relevant information, confirms the treatment being administered, and performs the appropriate pre-treatment assessment.

04

Clean technique. Single-use supplies.

IV catheters, needles, syringes, tubing, and other designated single-use supplies are used for one patient only.

Your nurse follows infection-control and aseptic practices when preparing your treatment, accessing medications, starting your IV, and handling supplies.

05

We check before we start

Your nurse performs a pre-treatment assessment before your infusion begins.

That may include reviewing how you are feeling that day, relevant changes since your medical evaluation, medications, allergies, and baseline vital signs when clinically appropriate.

If something doesn't look right, treatment stops before it starts.

06

Your nurse stays with you

Aura is not a drop-off IV service.

Your registered nurse remains with you throughout your infusion to monitor your treatment, assess how you are tolerating it, and respond if anything changes.

You are never left alone with an IV running.

07

We know when not to treat

Good clinical care sometimes means saying not today.

Your nurse or treating medical provider may pause, modify, postpone, or decline treatment when there is a concern about your safety or when IV therapy is not clinically appropriate.

No purchase or appointment guarantees that treatment will be administered.

08

Prepared for the unexpected

Although most IV visits are uncomplicated, your nurse comes prepared to recognize and respond to adverse reactions or changes during treatment and follows established clinical protocols for escalation of care when necessary.

Aura is a wellness service and does not replace emergency medical care. If you are experiencing severe or potentially life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or seek emergency medical attention.

09

Nothing gets left behind

At the end of your treatment, your nurse removes the IV, assesses the site, and provides appropriate aftercare instructions.

Needles and sharps are placed in approved sharps containers, and treatment-related supplies and waste are removed and disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.

We leave your space the way we found it.

10

Your visit is documented

Your treatment, assessment, medications administered, relevant observations, and other required information are documented in your medical record.

Your care doesn't become informal simply because it happens outside a clinic.

IV therapy and wellness services are not a substitute for medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Every client is screened before treatment and services are provided at the discretion of the treating clinician.

Concierge setting

Clinical standards.
Concierge setting.

The setting may be your living room, office, or hotel room. The responsibility that comes with starting an IV doesn't change.

That's why clinical evaluation, appropriate treatment selection, registered nursing care, monitoring, and documentation are built into the Aura experience.

They aren't premium add-ons. They're simply how we practice.

The other half of the standard

What we don't do.

  • We don't guarantee that everyone who books will receive treatment.
  • We don't automatically recommend the largest or most expensive infusion.
  • We don't leave clients alone while an IV is running.
  • We don't treat medical emergencies through a wellness IV appointment.
  • We don't add medications or ingredients without appropriate authorization and review.

Wellness that comes to you.
